## The Kong Innovator Awards celebrate the people actually doing the work — the builders, engineers, and teams using Kong to solve hard problems in ways we didn't expect.
Past award winners have included LEGO, BMW, United Airlines, H&M, and SeatGeek.
Kong encourages all customers to submit any Kong project or use case from the past year.
Once the call for submissions closes on September 11, the judges will evaluate each submission and select winners and categories depending on the use case, challenges faced, innovative solution, and unique differentiators.
All winners will be recognized live and in person at our awards ceremony during API + API Summit 2026 on October 1, 2026. Winners will also receive a trophy, recognition via social promotion and a press release, a promotional toolkit, and Kong swag.
**Awards Call for Submissions:** Open until September 11, 2026
**Judging Window:** September 11 - September 18
**Winner Notified:** By September 21
**Winners Announced: **October 1 during API + AI Summit
