Kong Konnect Operations

The Kong Konnect Cloud Operations course covers the core knowledge and functionality needed to operate an Organization's use of Konnect Cloud SaaS product. At a high level, Konnect Cloud allows organizations to manage multiple runtimes from a single, cloud-based control plane, giving you an overview of all deployed services. You can deploy these runtimes in different target environments, data centers, geographies, or zones without needing a local clustered database for each runtime group. This course will expose you to the Konnect Cloud functionality using the Konnect Cloud Portal and the decK command line tool. The course will balance lecture, hands-on exercise and quizzes to keep learners engaged and to ensure that the learning objectives are achieved. Attendees will receive a complimentary single use Kong Gateway Associate exam coupon.
Jeff partners closely with the Education team to deliver impactful training across the AMER region. Since joining Kong in January 2022, he has trained hundreds of engineers and helped design tailored enablement programs for some of Kong’s largest enterprise clients. Jeff specializes in Kubernetes-based deployments of Kong products, including Kong’s Ingress Controller and Gateway Operator. He combines hands-on experience with a customer-first mindset to help engineering teams confidently navigate the complexities of deploying and managing Kong in modern cloud-native environments. Jeff is based on Long Island, New York.
Kong Gateway Operations Exam Prep

The Kong Gateway Operations course covers the essential knowledge required to deploy and operate a Kong Gateway implementation. It is required in order to take the Kong Gateway Associate certification exam. The course balances lecture, hands-on exercise and quizzes to keep learners engaged and to ensure that the learners are prepared for the Kong Gateway Associate exam. Attendees will receive a complimentary single use Kong Gateway Associate exam coupon.
John has worked at Kong for over 4 years, and has been instrumental in developing the instructor-led and self-paced training content on Kong Academy covering all aspects of Kong's products and solutions. John also designed, developed, and implemented Kong's successful Kong Gateway Associate certification program, and regularly delivers training courses to Kong customers. John lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
