We are proud of the diverse group of individuals that makes up the Kong Community. This year, we are excited to give out a number of Diversity Scholarships to members of the community who are from underrepresented/marginalized groups to attend Kong Summit. In our second year of this event, we want to set a strong precedent for inclusiveness at Kong Summit to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to attend the event.
Applicants must be from traditionally underrepresented/marginalized groups in technology, cloud or open source communities, including but not limited to: LGBTQ+, women, people of color, people with disabilities, veterans/military service, people who are without any financial assistance.
Local to the San Francisco Bay Area and/or willing to pay for their own travel
Must be at least 18 years of age
Agree to follow our Code of Conduct
Recipients will be selected by the review committee, consisting of a diverse group of employees of Kong. The scholarships will be awarded based on a combination of need and community impact.
Full access pass to all speaking sessions, lunch, reception and networking activities.
