Kuma 1.4.1 and Kong Mesh 1.5.1 Released

We are happy to announce new releases of Kuma and Kong Mesh! Kuma 1.4.1 ships with new features, more performance improvements, and bug fixes. Kong Mesh 1.5.1 ships with a quick RBAC update. We strongly suggest you upgrade to take advantage of the latest and greatest when it comes to service mesh.

Notable improvements in Kuma 1.4.1

  • 🚀  Performance continues to significantly improve.  
  • 🚀  Authentication tokens are simpler to manage.
  • 🚀  Kubernetes Pods are automatically tagged to identify the Pod’s namespace, so you can easily build policies around it.

Quick update in Kong Mesh 1.5.1

  • 🚀  Restrictive RBAC is on by default on zone control planes.
