With API Summit 2024 coming up, we're thrilled to announce the 4th annual API Summit Hackathon!
This year’s Hackathon will focus on API innovation that emphasizes the use of artificial intelligence.
AI has taken the world by storm, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. We want to share our excitement for the technological opportunities that AI presents, so we’re creating an event that gets the Kong community involved with AI-driven API applications.
Whether you want to participate solo or assemble a team of up to five members, show off your creativity and hacking prowess while earning prizes, digital badges, and recognition amongst your peers.
The submission window for the Hackathon will be from September 1–11, but you can sign up for updates now. So what are you waiting for? Gather some peers or go at it alone and get started today!
Whether it’s an existing project or a mere seedling of thought, bring your wildest ideas to life and change the API landscape. You could use LLMs to adapt existing API usage or have AI optimize the microservice landscape of your architecture. The possibilities are endless!
All approved participants will receive a unique digital 2024 API Summit Hackathon contributor badge. The top two submissions will get a $1,000 gift card, while the next three runner-ups will receive a $500 gift card. Hackathon winners will be announced at API Summit 2024 on September 12, 2024.
