Amazon EKS Blueprints with Kong Konnect and Kong Ingress Controller Workshop

Event Ended
September 21, 2023

AWS & Kong Immersion Day

In this hands-on workshop series, speakers from Kong and AWS will demonstrate how the EKS Blueprints can accelerate your adoption of Amazon EKS and Kong Konnect. The EKS Blueprints project is an open-source development framework with ready-to-use, customizable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) samples built on AWS best-practices that allows operators to configure different flavors of EKS clusters and simplify the management of Kubernetes add-ons. Kong has two add-ons to deploy Kong Gateway and Kong Ingress Controller that integrate with Konnect, our SaaS platform.

Kong is excited to be participating in the monthly AWS EKS Workshop series to show how the EKS Blueprints can accelerate your adoption of Amazon EKS and Kong Konnect. The EKS Blueprints project is an open-source development framework with ready-to-use, customizable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) samples built on AWS best practices that allow operators to configure different flavors of EKS clusters and simplify the management of Kubernetes add-ons. Kong has two add-ons to deploy Kong Gateway and Kong Ingress Controller that integrate with Konnect, our SaaS platform.

By consolidating tools and best practices for securing, scaling, monitoring, and operating infrastructure for containerized applications, the EKS Blueprints allow DevOps and SRE teams to simplify operations of infrastructure. In this session, AWS experts will walk you through the EKS Blueprints, followed by a workshop where you will get hands-on experience with Amazon EKS with EKS Blueprints and the Kong Ingress Controller (KIC) based Kong Konnect add-on.
