API Development & AI: What to Expect Next

This session covers opportunities for API development with and without AI, and consequently where AI opportunities are really appearing in practice - not in theory. What’s more, we will go over the latest AI trends and API Gateway enhancements.

In addition to Kong taking the lead with the newly launched AI Gateway, there are many experiments with AI features for the API Management experience (for design improvements, implementation, monitoring, and more). From these trends and assessments, we can understand where to apply AI to our API plans for the coming months, while much of this space remains young and continue to evaluate what the future holds.
