Following the recent announcement of Kong Event Gateway, we are pleased to open up registration for access to the beta of Kong Native Event Proxy — a new Kong runtime that supports proxying event streams using Kafka Native protocols.

Kong Event Gateway helps decouple applications and Kafka infrastructure, and enables more cost effective event streaming architecture — reducing duplication of topics and clusters.

With our new Native Event Proxy you can:

• Inject policies such as authentication, redaction, and topic renaming
• Build Virtual Topics through topic aggregation and filtering
• Split large clusters into Virtual Clusters, each with separate policies and controls
