Considerations for Running Kubernetes at Scale
Chris Kim
Technical Product Manager, Rancher Labs
As organizations begin to adopt Kubernetes for production applications, they find themselves faced with a mountain of options for both configuration as well as management of their Kubernetes clusters. While most stock configurations of Kubernetes work to scale up to a certain extent, there are further optimizations that can be made to most general environments in order to allow for maximum flexibility and scalability of Kubernetes environments. In this talk, Chris Kim, an ex-Kubernetes SRE, will discuss considerations for scaling K8s as well as bottlenecks encountered when dealing with stock K8s configurations.
