Unleashing Innovation by Leveraging Open Source and Automation
Application developers want to innovate to meet current and future business demands by creating smart applications. However, they often find themselves having to spend time in the ecosystem surrounding their applications such as provisioning of infrastructure, monitoring, logging, security, scalability and high availability, which distract them from innovation and consume valuable time.
Recently, we are seeing a paradigm shift where developers have started leveraging open source technologies to build their ecosystems. This was made possible by the increase in maturity, quality and stability of open source projects. However, adopting open source is one part of the story — developers also need repeatability in creating an environment on demand.
