Kong 0.5.2 released

The latest update of Kong (0.5.2) ships with some hot-fixes, including:

Updates:

  • The OAuth 2.0 plugin can now detect that the originating protocol for a request was HTTPS through the “X-Forwarded-Proto header” and work behind another reverse proxy (load balancer).
  • The HMAC plugin now supports “X-Date" header to sign the request for usage in browsers (since the Date header is protected).
  • And more.

To update to the latest version, simply follow the installation instructions.

Migration from older versions

If you are migrating from an older version of Kong < 0.5.0, then follow the migration instructions in order to make your Kong cluster functioning after updating to 0.5.0.
