What to expect at Kong Summit 2022

In its fifth year, Kong Summit brings the Kong community — customers, partners, the open source user community, and industry thought leaders — together for a chance to discuss building new ideas, tapping into developer-driven innovation, and modernizing connectivity without sacrificing security and governance.

  • Learn about what's next around APIs, microservices, service mesh, Kubernetes, and open source tools.
  • Connect with the Kong community of technology leaders and practitioners. Network with your peers, relax, and play classic arcade games, including Donkey Kong.
  • Get training for Kong solutions.
  • Chat with Kong engineers and R&D, and get your questions answered at the Kong "Ask Me Anything" Table.
  • Talk shop with sponsors including: AWS, Red Hat, Wipro, Coforge, Live Reply, Styra, Prowess Software, AragonMS3, Traceable AI, SIGHUP, Infosys, and Neosec.

At Kong Summit 2021, we brought together nearly 5,000 of Kong's open source user community, customers, partners and industry thought leaders from nearly 100 countries. That digital event brought a taste of San Francisco to an international audience.

This year, we're bringing that international audience to San Francisco for our biggest and (dare we say) best conference yet.

What is Kong Summit?

Kong Summit is the conference where API innovation runs wild.

At Kong Summit, innovators and visionaries connect and cut through the buzzwords to get into the thick of things — exploring real-world solutions to building, securing, consuming, and connecting APIs and microservices.

You'll go beyond product features to exploring big ideas with businesses and builders doing things differently. You'll get hands-on. You may even get a little wild. Because innovation takes a willingness to go off the map.

Registration is now open.
