Andrea is a senior member of the investment team at Balderton, where he joined in 2021 to help launch the firm's Growth practice. He focuses primarily on growth-stage software investments, and has been a close partner to Kong since leading Balderton's investment in the company.
Prior to Balderton, Andrea was an early member of the investment team at the SoftBank Vision Fund, where he spent five years as a deal lead investing in late-stage technology companies across the US and Asia. Earlier in his career, he co-founded an esports startup that was acquired by Amazing Gaming Studios and held roles in capital markets and investment banking.
