Accelerating Product Delivery at Thrivent

Kyle Stefl, a platform engineer at Thrivent, joined Kong SVP Product Reza Shafii to discuss the nonprofit Fortune 500 financial services organization's developer-centric platform aimed at expediting product market delivery. With around 1,500 APIs in development, Thrivent launches approximately ten new APIs monthly, catering to application teams and developers. Since partnering with Kong in 2018, they successfully migrated all APIs to Kong Konnect without any production outages, achieving a unified control plane for developers. Thrivent is also exploring AI to further modernize applications and minimize downtime.
