Kong Accredited by IMDA, Enhancing Growth Trajectory in Singapore

We recently shared an important milestone that I believe is a testament to our unwavering commitment and passion. Kong Inc., your trusted partner in cloud API technologies, has been officially accredited by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore. And I wanted to take a moment to share why this accomplishment is so special. 

This accreditation is more than just a certificate; it's a recognition of our hard work, our dedication to innovation, and our relentless pursuit of excellence. Being part of IMDA’s Accreditation programme is not only an honor but a big step towards strengthening our presence in Singapore's dynamic digital economy. It solidifies our position as a trusted vendor for government and larger enterprise customers, opening new doors and opportunities not just in Singapore but across the Asia-Pacific region.

Let me share a bit more context about this achievement. IMDA is not just any organization. It is the statutory board that spearheads the digital transformation of Singapore. Their accreditation process is rigorous, evaluating companies on technical, financial, and operational aspects. By meeting these stringent standards, we at Kong have proven our capabilities and reliability in a highly competitive market.

But what does this mean for Kong, our partners, and our customers? Simply put, it accelerates our growth trajectory. As we navigate our path in the Asia-Pacific, this IMDA Accreditation is an important catalyst. It will streamline our engagement with the public sector, thanks to the Tech Acceleration Lab (TAL) and simplified procurement processes. This means we can deliver value faster and more efficiently to our customers in Singapore.

Our journey so far in the Asia-Pacific has been eventful, with significant expansions like opening offices in Singapore and announcing a joint venture with Japan Cloud in 2023. These steps have been instrumental in bringing us closer to our vision of enabling a world that is “API-first.”
