Extending Kong via Custom Plugins: Cargill’s Experience With Lua and Go

As part of Cargill’s API platform, we support multiple Identity Providers (IdP) in support of our API development community. Each IdP supports varying portions of the OIDC specification. In order to provide a consistent developer experience, Cargill created a solution to manage the revokation of access tokens using APIs fronted by the Kong API gateway and a plugin to check on the revokation status.
